My Journey

I'm a mixed media and fiber artist from Portland, Oregon. Inspired by the intricate patterns and textures of nature, I incorporate upcycled materials to transform often discarded items into art giving them new life and purpose. I especially love working with recycled glass, handcrafting it in small batches to explore the contrast between hard and soft materials.

Ultimately, my goal as an artist is to create works and products that celebrate the joy of learning new creative skills. I strive to celebrate the fulfillment of making something by hand. I'm very passionate about preserving time-honored techniques like embroidery and crochet, ensuring they are passed down to future generations.

By repurposing overlooked materials, I strive to showcase their hidden beauty and inspire a more sustainable, intentional approach to both art and everyday life.
